A Day In The Life

This northern suburb of Columbus is home to a unique blend of modern and historic... and even a wee bit of Irish. Dublin is one of the oldest communities in Central Ohio and named one of Columbus’ top suburbs to live in. It’s home to spacious townhomes, stately tudors and classic colonials. With the Scioto River running along the east and a park within every few blocks to the west- you’ll never run out of ways to spend your days.

One of our favorite spots inside the Shoppes at River Ridge, Bliss Life + Style offers an eclectic and well curated collection of home accessories, paper goods, jewelry and gifts created by local artisans from across the globe. Take a step inside and you’ll be taken aback– we’re talking pops of color, intricate jewelry and one of a kind crafts.

A short stroll across the Scioto will land you in the historic district of Dublin. Perched off S High near E Bridge, Terra Gallery will meet all your creative needs. Shop their current canvases or customize your own. Channel your inner artist on Jam Night (every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month) and enjoy complimentary cheese and chocolates– not to mention live music! Or… simply give your space an artsy update.

Just next door we made a pit stop to Boho 72, a boutique that offers unique clothing, trendy designs all at a reasonable cost. The perfect place to grab a gift or give your wardrobe a quick update.

The streets of Bridge Park are booming, we’re talking new restaurants popping up every month. With an abundance of options, ease of free parking, and views of the Scioto it makes for a popular hangout.

If you’re in need of a coffee fix Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea is the perfect place to sit, relax, refill, repeat. Try their signature dragon eye coffee, a thai iced tea or an iced dragon. (The strawberry bliss was delicious!)

Across the street sits Kilwins, the perfect place to grab some treats or choose from one of their 40 flavors of original ice creams. Starting with bricks of chocolate as their foundation, Kilwins makes over 75 different products. It makes for the perfect place to grab some goodies to go, especially those perfectly crafted caramel apples.

It’s now one of the most iconic restaurants in Dublin offering panoramic views of the city, Vaso Rooftop is located on the roof of the AC Hotel, serving unique spanish style tapas and signature cocktails. The lounge features two bars, boutique style wines and craft beers. Relax by the fire or enjoy the view from a private cabana. The bocadillo de pollo and the empanadas de chorizo paired with a sangria are a few of our favorites.

If Dublin is the neighborhood for you, you’ll always have something to look forward to.
